FOOD PANTRY

As we all know we are in the middle of state of emergency covid-19 pandemic,Our board decided to start help our community during their difficult time by providing their needs such as food.
We began to start food pantry every Thursday. Last Thursday we distributed up to 400 grocery boxes to needed family where councilwomen Farah N. Louis and assemblywoman Rodnneyse Bichotte attend and appreciated helping community time like this.
We want to continue FOOD PANTRY we are asking every one to donate whatever they could since schools and businesses across the city are shut down, many families in our neighborhood face the loss jobs and income.The funds raised from this campaign will go directly to the PAYO’s HALAL FOOD PANTRY 100% of the fund will be used to purchase grocery to distribute among the families in need. PAYO volunteers are providing home delivery to the old people, people with special needs, single moms and families in quarantine,also while families with low income can pick-up groceries from the local distribution location at 1045 Coney Island Avenue Brooklyn NY 11230.

COMMUNITY CLEAN UP DAY

Pakistani American Youth Organization Will Proudly Be Cleaning Our Neighborhood. As Our Dear Prophet Muhammad PBUH Said “Cleanliness Is Half The faith” Sahih Muslim. Please Join Us For this Good work. We Will Provide Masks And Gloves To Volunteer,s That Shows Up. Free Toys For Tots Drive(Christmas)

On 12/15/2019 Team Payo Arranged a Free Toy for Tots Drive at PAYO office . Hundreds of toys were distributed among kids by our special guest Sargent Zagham Abbas. Sgt. Abbas also gave an important speech to kids about Strangers . In the end thanks for everyone who made this another successful event of PAYO

4th of july celebertion 2019

PAYO, PAANY & ICNA RELIEF Partnered Up And Brought A FREE HEALTH FAIR & BBQ To The Little Pakistani Community in Celebration of America’s Independence Day. Event was started with the flaf ceremony by NYPD Chief Scholl. Moreover, Newly elected Council member, Farah Louis attended the event and gave kind remarks on how such events help unify the community. Lastly, Council member Mathieu Eugene ended the ceremony by cutting Independence Day cake.

Special thank you to everyone who joined PAYO’s 4th Annual Independence Day Celebration! Special gratitude to Council member Chaim Deutsch for constantly recognizing PAYO’S hard-work and community service by honoring PAYO with a Citation!

23rd march celebertion 2019 

PAYO hosted their 4th annual event with a very iconic celebration which was filled with unity, diversity and strength! There was an aroma of Pakistani cuisine in the air, joys of laughter, green and white representation and powerful remarks made from dominant community leaders: Eric Adams – Brooklyn Borough President, Yvette Clarke Congresswomen , Sarah Sayeed Senior Advisor Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit, Aliya Latif -Director at Comptroller’s Office, Pervez Siddiqui -Chairman Apna Brooklyn Community Center and zagham Abbas NYPD Community Affairs.

BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLY GIVAWAY 2019

PAYO & ICNA RELIEF hosted an event Giveaway Back 2 school supplies to 350 plus needed kids & families. PAYO would like to thanks our special friends. Councilman Chaim Deutsch, Councilwoman Farah N. Louis & Councilman Matthieu Eugene, for attending the event, disturbed the #SchoolSupplies and making it #SuccessfulEvent
